Hi, I’m Ellie. I’m an Anglo-Malay in my twenties, currently based in Hong Kong.
I started this blog as a way to chronicle and share some of the crazy adventures my family have whenever we go away. We’ve never been one for conventional holidays and all through my childhood I’ve stumbled into bizarre adventures and gone on strange travels. From horseback archery competitions on the borders of Tibet, to turtle conservation projects in Costa Rica,and teaching the Republican Guard in Djibouti. I wanted to try and capture the memories that I know are already fading and getting muddled by time.
I’ve also started writing about my experience living with hip dysplasia and undergoing a PAO. I’m hoping that in doing so, I will be able to raise a little bit of awareness for this condition.
